The 3" x 2" Premier Laserable Leatherette Hex Patch brings a modern geometric edge to what is otherwise a traditional product category. Adhesive patches fail because most adhesives aren't built to handle what fabric goes through - washing, flexing, heat, and daily wear. These patches use Kota Pro adhesive technology, a heat-activated backing that creates a permanent bond with fabric when pressed. It doesn't require stitching, doesn't need a secondary adhesive layer, and stays non-tacky during handling so positioning is clean and accurate before you commit to the press.
The leatherette material is 1.57mm thick - solid enough to hold its shape, flexible enough to work on curved surfaces. The laserable surface engraves with clean, sharp contrast on logos, text, and detailed graphics. Heat Press Settings for your customized patches.
- Hotronix IQ 360-330 Top/320 Bottom:
- Prepress hat for 20 seconds to remove moisture place patch on to start activating heat and press with fingers for a few seconds.
- Place a 1/16 inch silicone pad over the patch and press for another 22-30 seconds at medium pressure.
- Single Platen 300 degrees:
- Prepress hat for 20 seconds place the patch and hold with fingers for a few seconds.
- Place a 1/16 inch silicone pad over the patch and press for 35-50 seconds.
