The North Face Apex Barrier Soft Shell Jacket is made from WindWall fabric: 351 g/m² 96/4 recycled post-consumer polyester/elastane in solids and 374 g/m² 100% polyester in heathers, both with a non-PFC DWR finish.
The fabric is 100% windproof, which greatly reduces the effects of wind chill while providing flexibility and breathability. The durable water-repellent finish on the face of the fabric is a first line of defense against wet weather.
