Sending us your Art

The quickest and best way to get us your artwork is e-mail. Just send the files to art@lazerdesigns.com after you have placed your order and include your order number. Or, reply to the order confirmation you will receive and attach your logo. If you prefer, you can send us your file before you place your order and ask any questions. See our available Fonts.

If there is a fee to clean up your artwork, we will contact you first. If you want to know what your logo will look like before placing an order, you can place a request for a mockup. There is a small charge for this service. Contact us for more info or to start your mockup request.

Fees: For camera ready artwork, there is no artwork fee. Camera ready artwork is considered a logo in 300dpi black and white tiff or EPS/AI/CDR files only. Images taken off websites are generally not camera ready.

 We have a Clipart Gallery available with over 7,000 images for you to choose from. Just mention the name in the Special Instructions field when ordering. There is no charge when using these images. (copy the red text under image & include with your order or email it to us)


How can you tell if your logo will laser well?

Remember: The better the input artwork, the better the output engraving!

If you have a VECTOR file (EPS, AI, PDF, CDR) this is almost always the BEST OPTION!

Photographs should be in as large a file as you have. Photos look best when there is a quiet background (or solid color in background)

Please send us your logo in one of the following formats, and remember to include your Order Number with all correspondence.

Low quality image
 This image is LOW quality, and would not laser as well as a higher resolution image. The jagged edges may come across when lasered.
High quality image This image is higher quality, with crisp edges, and would laser well

Can't find a high quality image? Send us what you have, our skilled art team will see if we can work with it!

  • Adobe Illustrator (.EPS or .AI) (vector format) (no artwork fee!) Convert text to outlines
  • CorelDRAW (.CDR) (vector format) (no artwork fee!) Convert text to curves

  • PDF (.PDF) (vector format) (no artwork fee!) Convert text to curves
  • Freehand (.EPS) (vector format) (no artwork fee!) Convert text to paths, export file as Generic EPS
  • Adobe PhotoShop (300dpi) (.PSD, .EPS)
  • Other files: Highest possible resolution (300dpi+) .TIFF or .JPG or .PNG
  • Microsoft Office: Embed or include the fonts used (art is generally not camera ready and Office art does not work well)
  • Not sure? Email your logo to us ahead of time and we'll take a look and provide any tips and feedback. Please tell us what you want to engrave it on.

We will always contact you before we charge you any additional fees. We are experts with cleaning up artwork and sometimes there is no charge.
